Welcome to the resurrected WAP service, one of the services that sets us apart from all the other good Bible gateways out there (that and our news service, our design etc!!).

WAP has had a bit of bad press recently, so let's set some expectations. WAP is not the internet as you know it! It is basically an internet for your mobile phones, one day it will be as fast and colourful (or replaced by mobile HTML browsers) but today it is still in use. What other technology is there to allow you to read the Bible on a wet and windy train platform (your paper would get wet for all those that said a book!!)

But despite the "speed" and despite what the media says, WAP is still relatively popular (after all almost all Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Siemens etc phones now have a WAP browser). And our WAP site still counts for a lot of our daily visits!
