1) I was getting frustrated about not having time to read the Bible, but felt the ever increasing need to read it. Whenever I did have time to read the Bible, I never had a Bible to hand. So I thought what better place to put the texts than on the web. Easily accessible from work and at home.
Also now on the move (which we think is a first!) via our WAP service.

2) The other reason is that back in January 2000 a talk in my Church started me thinking. It touched on the need for all Christians to use what talents they have to spread God's word. The usual way for Christians to participate is one that I find difficult to relate to - you know the usual drama or music groups. Don't get me wrong, I love music - but Pantera wouldn't go down too well on a Sunday morning! However, I can use computers no problem, so this got me thinking about point 1 again and the idea was born!

As we got more and more into the design we decided to make the site a one-stop-shop for all your daily information requirements from the net. After all, the main reason people use the web at work is to get the latest news, music gossip and sports stories. (Use the web for business use? Yeah right!).

So stop here before you start your day and add a Bible passage to your browsing.

The WAP service now provides the daily Bible readings as well as yesterday's reading, the quick search. The new feed we provide on WAP is from the Ananova site.

So who are we?

Don't be fooled by the great site(!!) we aren't a big company, in fact we're not a company at all, "we" are just one Christian IT professional building the site in his spare time. We are not alone though and have some great back up and also get help and content from our local clergy (D4G is his content and Raj was an idea of his).

We also have a great deal of help and support from the Internet community and are always willing to listen to partnerships for promotion of Christian sites, music, events etc. and also to accept Christian content for potential publishing on resurrected.co.uk. Use the form below to get in touch.
